The first meeting between the Aztec and Cortés was ; Cortés came back and conquered the empire at a later date. Pizarro’s initial intent was to  the Inca, and he  at their second meeting.

Pizarro's initial intent was to peacefully negotiate with the Inca empire, but their second meeting resulted in a violent confrontation where Pizarro captured and eventually executed the Inca ruler Atahualpa.
