Explain what is parole in simple term

Parole is like being released from prison early, but with certain conditions. When a person is granted parole, they are allowed to serve the rest of their sentence outside of prison, under supervision. The person must follow specific rules and regularly meet with a parole officer. Parole is granted to individuals who have shown good behavior and are considered low-risk to society. It is a chance for them to prove that they can reintegrate into the community and live a law-abiding life. However, if they violate the conditions of their parole, they can be sent back to prison to finish their sentence.
