If a ball is accelerating down through the air with no horizontal motion, what must be true about the net forces acting on the ball?(1 point)

The drag is greater than the gravitational force.
The drag is greater than the gravitational force.

The gravitational force is greater than the drag.
The gravitational force is greater than the drag.

The net force on the ball is zero.
The net force on the ball is zero.

The net force on the ball is directed upward.

The drag is greater than the gravitational force.

Good grief BOT !!!

It is accelerating DOWN
thus:
The gravitational force is greater than the drag.

Apologies for the confusion in my previous response. You are correct. If the ball is accelerating downward, the gravitational force must be greater than the drag force.
