The process of vision begins with light entering the eye through the cornea and pupil. The light then passes through the lens, which focuses the light onto the retina at the back of the eye. The retina contains photoreceptor cells called rods and cones, which convert the light into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted to the brain through the optic nerve for processing and interpretation, ultimately resulting in our perception of visual information.
