When we visited the Grand Canyon, we spent long minutes staring into the abyss. The vastness and depth of the canyon left us awe-struck and filled with a sense of ferment. Our minds were semicircled with thoughts of its immense beauty and power. At the same time, this natural wonder made us feel a slight discomfort, as we contemplated the fragility of our existence compared to the grandeur of nature.
