Homeschooling: Yay or Nay? Where? When? Why? Who? How? There are just so many questions swimming around in your head as you head out to your first day of the new academic school year. Some school years are good and have a positive impact on our lives while other school years are rough and have a negative impact on our lives. Will there be a bully this year? Will I be a part of the cool group? Will I make the basketball team? Will I have good teachers? Will the cafeteria food be edible? The school you go to may depend on the school district you live in. The districts vary in the quality of the teachers, the resources available to the students and so much more. An alternative to this uncertainty is homeschooling. Homeschooling has advantages along with disadvantages. [~50 words] There are several advantages to homeschooling. First off, you have the luxury of learning at your own pace. If a chapter in Math is especially challenging, you can spend as much time as you want on it until you feel you have a good grasp on it.
