Meaning of dyspepsia

Dyspepsia is a medical term used to describe a collection of symptoms related to the digestive system. It typically refers to recurring or chronic pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. Symptoms can include bloating, nausea, vomiting, belching, and a feeling of fullness or early satiety. Dyspepsia can be caused by various factors, such as overeating, consuming spicy or fatty foods, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, stress, and certain medications. It is often a result of acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), but can also be a symptom of other underlying conditions.
