American journalist Terry George is known for directing and co-writing the movie "Hotel Rwanda" (2004). However, it's worth noting that the film is based on the true story of Paul Rusesabagina, a Rwandan hotel manager who sheltered Tutsis during the 1994 Rwandan genocide, and that Terry George himself is not an American journalist who filmed the genocide.
