Cherry blossoms reproduce thual reproduction by producing seeds. The flowers of cherry trees contain both male and female reproductive organs. Pollination occurs when bees or other insects transfer pollen from the male stamen to the female stigma. Once fertilized, an ovary at the base of the flower develops into a cherry fruit, containing the seeds.
