Go back and study the information presented in the list on the first instruction slide about recognizing signs of drug abuse. Create a scenario for each of the signs: behavioral, physical, and social. Record your scenarios in your journal.

Behavioral sign:

Scenario: Mark used to be a top performer at his job, always punctual and well-prepared. However, recently he has been arriving late, his work quality has declined, and he seems disinterested in his tasks. He also frequently isolates himself from colleagues, avoiding social interactions that he previously enjoyed. The sudden change in his behavior raises concerns about potential drug abuse.

Physical sign:
Scenario: Emma has always been an active individual, participating in various sports and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Lately, her appearance has changed significantly. She has lost a significant amount of weight, her face appears gaunt, and she has developed frequent nosebleeds. Her friends and family notice her constant hand tremors and dilated pupils. These physical changes suggest the possibility of drug abuse.

Social sign:
Scenario: Sarah used to have a large circle of friends and frequently attended social gatherings. However, over the past few months, she has started to distance herself from her friends and prefers spending time alone. She no longer shows interest in her hobbies and avoids participating in activities, such as going out for dinner or watching a movie, that she used to enjoy. Additionally, her grades have been declining, and she often skips classes. These changes in her social behavior raise concerns about potential drug abuse.
