Part 1

Reflection
After I finish high school, I would like to: go to college and study Marine Biology.

How might my lifestyle choices and my total health positively or negatively affect my ability to reach these goals?

Positively:

- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, can improve overall physical health and increase energy levels, which can positively impact performance in college and studying.
- Making choices to prioritize mental and emotional well-being, such as practicing stress management techniques and seeking support when needed, can improve focus and concentration, making it easier to succeed academically.
- Building healthy relationships and a strong support network can provide encouragement and motivation throughout the college journey.

Negatively:
- Engaging in unhealthy habits such as excessive drinking or drug use can impair cognitive abilities and hinder academic performance.
- Poor sleep habits or lack of sufficient rest can negatively impact learning and memory retention.
- Neglecting mental health and not seeking help for issues like anxiety or depression can lead to decreased motivation and hinder success in college.
