When Europe explored and colonized the Americas, it made a really big impact on the world! First, they discovered new lands and resources like gold, silver, and spices. This made Europeans very rich and powerful. But, it also led to conflicts with Native Americans and caused many of them to suffer. The exploration and colonization of the Americas changed the world by bringing new ideas, cultures, and diseases, and it started a global exchange of people, goods, and ideas called the Columbian Exchange.
