Think about your life up until now. What was your childhood like? What did you used to do? What were you like?

For this portfolio you are going to write two paragraphs about your childhood. Your diary entry should include the following information:

what you were like as a child
what you used to do as a child
at least four vocabulary words learned in this unit
at least two appropriate uses of indirect object pronouns
at least four appropriate uses of the imperfect tense (two regular verbs, two irregular verbs)

As a child, I was imaginative and curious. I always had a vibrant imagination and loved to pretend to be different characters in my own made-up stories. I would spend hours playing make-believe with my siblings or my friends, creating elaborate scenarios and adventures. I was also quite shy and introverted, preferring the company of books and my own thoughts. I would often get lost in the pages of a good book, transported to different worlds and lives.

One of my favorite activities as a child was exploring nature. I would spend countless hours outside, hiking through the nearby woods or playing in the backyard. I would collect bugs and flowers, observing their intricate details and trying to learn as much as I could about the natural world. I also enjoyed going on bike rides or playing sports with my family and friends. I loved the feeling of being active and the sense of freedom that came with it.
