One thing that I learned in ELA (English Language Arts) is the importance of close reading and analysis. Through various texts and literary works, I discovered that there is often deeper meaning and symbolism within the words on the page. By closely examining the language, themes, and literary devices used by the author, I can gain a better understanding of the text and its underlying messages. This skill has not only enhanced my comprehension and critical thinking abilities but also allowed me to appreciate literature on a deeper level.
