I believe that the Mexican-American War was not justified. The United States did not have good reasons to go to war with Mexico. The dispute between the two countries over the Texas territory could have been resolved peacefully through diplomatic negotiations. Additionally, it is important to acknowledge that the war was largely motivated by the desire for territorial expansion and the pursuit of Manifest Destiny by the United States. The annexation of Texas and the subsequent military actions by American forces were aggressive and ultimately led to unnecessary bloodshed and suffering. Therefore, the Mexican-American War was not justified.
