I don't agree with the answer on question five. It is not necessary for an effective inclusive teacher to be a therapy, but they ought to know how the students develope, especially in thinking and motor skills.

would you agree that questions 1,2,3,and 4 are correct? You didn't say?

1, 2, 3, and 4 look fine to me, and probably do to Bobpursley, too, since he didn't say there was anything wrong with them.

5 needs rethinking.

=)

I'm happy to help you with checking your answers. Let's go through each question and answer to see if they are correct or not.

1. Which of the following is the best example of a teachable moment?
Your answer: (B) A child struggling to put on his own shoes.

Your answer is correct. A teachable moment is when a child is engaged in an activity or situation that presents an opportunity for the teacher or caregiver to provide guidance or instruction. In this example, the child struggling to put on his own shoes presents a teachable moment where the teacher can assist and teach the child how to do it properly.

2. Incidental teaching occurs best when:
Your answer: (A) a child shows interest in something and a teacher responds.

Your answer is correct. Incidental teaching refers to the practice of taking advantage of spontaneous situations or events to teach a child something. It is most effective when the child shows interest in something, and the teacher responds by providing additional information, guidance, or support.

3. Teachers need to use task analysis with children to:
Your answer: (B) divide a difficult activity into smaller activities.

Your answer is correct. Task analysis is a technique used to break down a complex activity or task into smaller, more manageable steps. By doing so, it helps children understand and learn the activity more effectively.

4. An early childhood teacher who is a good facilitator in the classroom usually:
Your answer: (C) moves in and out of children's play.

Your answer is correct. A good facilitator in the classroom is someone who supports and guides children's play without dominating or controlling it. Moving in and out of children's play allows the teacher to observe, offer assistance when needed, and encourage independent problem-solving and decision-making.

5. An effective teacher in an inclusive early childhood classroom:
Your answer: (B) is also a therapist.

Your answer is incorrect. An effective teacher in an inclusive early childhood classroom does not necessarily have to be a therapist. However, they should have knowledge and understanding of child development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. This understanding helps them create an inclusive environment and support the diverse needs of all children.

So, in summary, your answers for questions 1, 2, 3, and 4 are correct. But for question 5, the correct answer is not (B). An effective teacher in an inclusive early childhood classroom is knowledgeable about child development (D).

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask.
