The Holocaust was a terrible event during World War II when millions of innocent Jewish people were persecuted and killed by the Nazis because of their faith. The Third Reich was the name given to the Nazi regime in Germany, which lasted from 1933 to 1945. It was a time when Hitler and his followers ruled with a lot of power and implemented cruel and unjust policies. Appeasement refers to the strategy used by some countries, like Britain and France, to give in to Hitler's demands in the hopes of avoiding war, but it ended up giving him more confidence to continue his aggressive actions.

Mein Kampf is a book written by Adolf Hitler that explains his hateful ideas and ambitions for Germany. It became influential among his followers and provided insight into his extreme beliefs. The Munich Conference was a meeting held in 1938 where European nations tried to resolve issues with Hitler's territorial demands, but it resulted in concessions being made to Germany, essentially allowing Hitler to take over part of Czechoslovakia.

Pearl Harbor was a surprise military attack by Japan on the United States in 1941, which resulted in the U.S. entering World War II. The Atlantic Charter was an agreement between the United States and Britain in 1941, outlining their shared goals of promoting democracy, free trade, and self-determination after the war.
