Choose two of the “other worlds” described in the unit. Compare and contrast the ways these other worlds impacted the real world for the characters. And write like a fifth grader

In the unit, we learned about different "other worlds" in stories. I want to compare two of these worlds and see how they affected the characters in the real world.

The first other world is the world of Narnia from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". In this story, four children – Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy – discover a magical wardrobe that transports them to the land of Narnia. This other world impacts their real world because when they come back from Narnia, time hasn't moved forward. For example, they spend many years in Narnia fighting battles and growing up, but when they return to the real world, no time has passed at all. This affects the characters because they have changed and gained courage and skills from their experiences in Narnia, but they still have to adjust to being children again in the real world.

The second other world is the world of Hogwarts from the "Harry Potter" series. In this series, Harry Potter discovers that he is a wizard and attends a magical school called Hogwarts. This other world impacts his real world because Harry's life completely changes once he enters the magical world. He learns about his parents' past, makes new friends, and faces challenges he never imagined before. In the real world, Harry is an orphan living with his aunt and uncle, who treat him poorly. But in Hogwarts, he finds a sense of belonging and a place where he is valued. The friendships and experiences he has in Hogwarts make him braver and more confident when he returns to the real world.

Both Narnia and Hogwarts are other worlds filled with magic and adventure. They impact the real world for the characters by giving them new experiences, teaching them valuable lessons, and helping them grow as individuals. The characters have to adjust to living in both worlds and face challenges unique to each world. But in the end, these other worlds bring positive changes to the characters' lives and help them become better versions of themselves.
