Can someone help me with this?

Write a brief summary of the main ideas of the article (or at least two paragraphs of the article). Create an in-text citation for your summary.
Paraphrase a specific point or points made by the author within the article. Create an in-text citation for your paraphrase.
Identify a direct quote from the article. Create an in-text citation for your direct quote.
Create a reference for your article.

It seems clear to me, albeit it did not cite the specific article. What is your question?

I need an example

I see you have listed your entire assignment, but you have not stated what kind of help you need. As Bobpursley asked, What is your question?

If you don't find what you need here, be sure to post some SPECIFIC QUESTIONS.

I have been wondering this afternoon, what is exactly a plagiarism workshop? Is that like a safe-cracking, or a bank-robber workhshop? But only novice criminals would attend those, and I doubt if APA format would be required.

But a plagarism workshop could be used by novices entering political campaigns. Or by freshmen lawmakers. Or men writing love letters.
At any rate, it is something to wonder. Nearly all teacher workshops I have attended expected to teach behaviours or techniques that others had developed for their classrooms.
So in this sense, all were plagarism workshops. What was needed was some fresh air, to teach originality, and the value of experimentation, and the value of failure.

1. What are the most important concepts or processes you learned in this workshop?

2. How will you apply these concepts in your educational, personal, or professional pursuits?
3. Provide any additional relevant personal notes and observations.

I can certainly help you with that! To complete this task, you will need to have access to the article you're summarizing, paraphrasing, quoting, and creating a reference for.

Here's how you can go about it:

1. Writing a summary:
- Read the entire article thoroughly to grasp its main ideas.
- Identify the most important points and condense them into a few sentences or paragraphs.
- Make sure to paraphrase rather than copy directly from the article.
- Use your own words to express the key ideas.
- Include an in-text citation in the summary to credit the author.
Example in-text citation for your summary (assuming APA style): (Author's Last Name, Year)

2. Paraphrasing a specific point:
- Select a specific point or argument made by the author in the article.
- Rephrase that point using your own words.
- Make sure to accurately capture the original meaning.
- Include an in-text citation for the paraphrased point.
Example in-text citation for your paraphrase: (Author's Last Name, Year)

3. Identifying a direct quote:
- Find a notable statement or phrase in the article.
- Copy the exact words from the article and enclose them in quotation marks (" ").
- Be sure to use the quote in a way that adds value to your response.
- Include an in-text citation for the direct quote.
Example in-text citation for your direct quote: (Author's Last Name, Year, p. xx)

4. Creating a reference for your article:
- Gather the necessary information about the article, including the author's name, title, publication information, and page numbers if available.
- Follow the referencing style guide specified by your instructor or the predetermined citation style.
- Include all the necessary elements (e.g., author, year, title, source) in the reference.
- Verify that your reference is formatted correctly according to the citation style requirements.

Remember, citing sources is crucial to acknowledge the original authors and avoid plagiarism. If you have the specific article you would like to work on, I can guide you step by step through the process!
