Archaeologists discovered several rooms carved into rock in the oldest section of Jerusalem. In one of the rooms, there were three V-shaped markings carved into the floor. They are about 2 inches (5 centimeters) deep and 20 inches (50 centimeters) long. However, there is nothing that indicates who made the markings or what they are for. Archaeologists have been unable to identify them. So they posted images on Facebook. They asked people what the photos might show. One person suggested that the shapes might have held up pieces of wood. Another thought that they were places to pour melted metal.
