Given that a*b = abb/a
Evalute
1)3+4*8 is it 328/4=6?
2)2*(4*8) is the ans 64?
it means ab minus B divided by A

Well, then the * is an operator, so
1) 3+4*8=3+ 328/4=332+2=33 as I see it.
I don't get either of your answers, but frankly, I am not certain of the function.
ab minus b divided by a could be
(abb)/a or ab (b/a)posted by bobpursley

I get the same answers as Mr. Pursley:
If a*b = ab b/a,
1)3+4*8 = 3 + (4)*8 = 33
2)2*(4*8) = 2*(30) = 45
if a*b = (abb)/a,
1)3+4*8 = 3 + (4)*8 = 3 + 10 = 7
2)2*(4*8) = 2*(6) = 3
