A major belief in Zoroastrianism is the existence of a cosmic conflict between good and evil forces. Followers believe in the Supreme God, Ahura Mazda, who is the creator of everything good, and they believe in the existence of Ahriman, the embodiment of evil. Zoroastrians believe that individuals have the freedom to choose between good and evil, and they are encouraged to make righteous choices in order to support the forces of good in the ongoing battle against evil.
