Similarly, in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," the protagonist Walter Mitty wants to escape his humdrum existence and enter a world of excitement and adventure. He daydreams of being a brave hero in various scenarios, as a means to escape the mundane reality of his everyday life. Both characters yearn for something beyond their ordinary lives, seeking thrill and excitement in their desired escape.
