Intoxication

Intoxication refers to a state of being drunk or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is characterized by alterations in consciousness, reduced motor coordination, impaired judgment, and a variety of physical and psychological effects. Intoxication can be voluntary, such as when someone consumes alcohol or drugs willingly, or involuntary, such as in cases of accidental poisoning. While intoxication may be sought for recreational purposes, excessive or prolonged intoxication can have serious health consequences and can impair daily functioning and decision-making abilities.
