The people or groups involved in the French and Indian War were the French, the British, and several Native American tribes. This event affected not only these groups but also the American colonists.

The French and Indian War was a conflict that took place between 1754 and 1763. It started as a dispute over land in the Ohio River Valley between the French and the British. The Native American tribes in the region were also involved, forming alliances with either the French or the British.

The event took place in North America, primarily in the Ohio River Valley, as well as in other parts of the continent, including present-day Canada. Battles and campaigns occurred in areas such as Fort Duquesne (which later became Pittsburgh), Fort Niagara, Quebec, and Montreal.

The French and Indian War is important to Georgia's history because it played a significant role in the British acquisition of the territory. The war ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763, which resulted in France ceding much of its North American territory to the British. This included the region that would become the state of Georgia. The British victory in the war also weakened the Native American tribes in the area and paved the way for further British colonization and westward expansion in Georgia.
