Ken wrote the following story about a road trip. Read Ken’s paper and look for any revisions he needs to make. Then answer the questions that follow.

(1) I was torn between wanting to be in my uncle’s wedding and surviving a ten-hour road trip with my family. (2) It would be worse to stay with my aunt and her toddler and baby, so I decided to join my family on the road trip to Nebraska. (3) My father had rented a new car for the trip, which was a good decision. (4) Although I was stuck in between my annoying brother and whiny sister, the car offered comfort and more space compared to our own vehicle.

(5) That night, we stayed in a hotel in Topeka. (6) I shared a room with my brother and Dad while Mom and sister shared a smaller room. (7) Johnny talked in his sleep, and Dad snored the night away. (8) The misery of sleeplessness is too great to put into words. (9) In the morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. (10) All the options were stale or bland, but my siblings enjoyed everything that was offered. (11) I couldn’t believe my picky siblings had transformed into adventurous eaters on the road. (12) At least Dad ate until he had to take off his belt, and Mom ate her fill. (13) Once we loaded our luggage in the car and mostly full bodies in the car, we hit the road. (14) I regretted not stuffing my mouth in the morning because we didn’t stop for the next six hours.

(15) The late lunch was in a sad little Chinese restaurant. (16) Again, the twins ate until their stomachs burst. Mom and Dad enjoyed the buffet to the fullest. (17) I should have learned my lesson from breakfast and eaten plenty, but I couldn’t force myself. (18) After losing a few pounds to the stress of being in between my siblings and not eating well, we finally arrived in Omaha. (19) When I saw that Uncle Devin had a spread of cheese, croissant, fruits, and juice to welcome us, I hugged him until he couldn’t breathe. (20) My heart was full before my stomach.
