Imagine you’re conducting a lab investigation with a plant that grows in water you get aquarium, water, and a few sprigs of the plant from the aquarium shop. You put the container with the plant and the water in the bright light and observe it for a week at first to see bubbles forming what must those bubbles be?

The bubbles observed in the water after placing the plant in bright light are most likely oxygen bubbles. When plants undergo photosynthesis, they use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to produce glucose (food) and oxygen. Oxygen is released as a byproduct of photosynthesis, and it often accumulates as bubbles on the surfaces of leaves, stems, or in the surrounding water.
