1. Open the simulation by clicking here. Click on the box labeled “Ideal.”

2. Click on the “Width” button. This will cause a measurement to appear below the box.

3. The measurement will be used to estimate the volume of the container. Volume is measured in liters (L). Throughout the activity, use the measurement of the width of the box in nanometers (nm).
