I think that the United States spending over $20 billion a year on space exploration through NASA has been totally worth it! First, we have learned so much about our awesome solar system. For example, we discovered that there is water on Mars, which is super cool because it means there might have been life there before. Second, space exploration has helped us invent things that we use every day, like memory foam mattresses and baby formula. These discoveries influence my opinion because they show how exploring space not only teaches us about the universe but also benefits us here on Earth.
