Name the parts that carry out the excetory process in fresh water protozoa and mammals

Freshwater protozoa and mammals have different mechanisms for excretion.

In freshwater protozoa, the excretory process is carried out by a contractile vacuole. The contractile vacuole collects excess water and waste materials within the protozoa and then contracts to expel these materials out of the cell through the plasma membrane.

In mammals, various organs and systems work together for the excretory process. The main organs involved are the kidneys, which filter blood to remove waste products such as urea and maintain the balance of water and electrolytes in the body. The urinary system, which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, helps in the storage and elimination of urine from the body. Additionally, other organs such as the lungs excrete carbon dioxide, the liver excretes bile, and the skin excretes sweat.
