I feel confident using models to explore body systems because they provide a visual representation of how the different parts work together. It is challenging to see the relationship between parts of a model because sometimes the connections are not clearly labeled or easy to understand. Models are useful when studying multicellular organisms because they allow us to see how the different cells and body systems interact and function as a whole.

During this unit, we learned about the importance of cell membranes in regulating the transport of materials into and out of the cell. We also learned about the different cell structures that work together to create proteins. In addition, we explored the various types of organelles found in cells and compared the cell structures found in different organisms.

We also discussed the similarities and differences between viruses and living things. We learned about the different ways viruses can reproduce and the unique characteristics that distinguish them from living organisms.

Furthermore, we made models that showed the parts of human body systems and how they function. These models helped us understand how different body systems work together to help an organism survive. We also used models to show the interactions between different body systems.

Sometimes, it can be a bit challenging to see the relationship between the different parts of a model, just like how it can be difficult to understand how all the organs and systems in our bodies connect and interact with each other. But, models are incredibly useful when studying multicellular organisms like us humans because they allow us to see how our cells and body systems work as a team.

In this unit, I learned a lot about the importance of cell membranes in controlling what goes in and out of our cells. It's really cool to see how the different structures in our cells, like the ribosomes and endoplasmic reticulum, come together to create proteins that our body needs for various functions. We even explored how these cell structures can differ between different organisms.

We also delved into the fascinating world of viruses and learned about how they are similar to and different from living organisms. It's mind-blowing to see how viruses can reproduce and multiply, even though they aren't considered alive like us humans.
