Structrual formula of 2-octene

The structural formula of 2-octene is as follows:

CH3(CH2)3CH=CH(CH2)2CH3

The structural formula of 2-octene can be written as follows:

CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH=CH-CH2-CH3

In this structure, there is a carbon-carbon double bond (CH=CH) located between the 6th and 7th carbon atoms (counting from the left). The remaining carbon atoms are attached with single bonds (CH2) to form a chain of eight carbon atoms (octene). The chain is also saturated with hydrogen atoms, with three hydrogen atoms attached to each of the carbon atoms, except for the carbon atoms at the ends of the chain, which have two hydrogen atoms attached.
