It is with mixed emotions that I write to formally tender my resignation from my position as shop assistant at Conoco. Please accept this letter as my official notice of resignation, effective 8/25/23.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunities and experiences I have gained throughout my time at Conoco. The professional growth, support, and guidance provided by yourself and the everyone that took interest in my success has been invaluable in shaping my career and as a person.
Having taken careful consideration and reflection over our conversation on tuesday. I have worked at the Conoco two weeks after I turned 15 and since then, I have not had time to do a majority of the things that people my age do. I have made the decision to take a break from the work environment for a while and to be a kid while I still can. Also, I want to make it absolutely clear that I am leaving of my own choice and it's not that anyone said or did. This decision was not an easy one, as I have thoroughly enjoyed working beside you and Tim. I have genuinely enjoyed being part of the Conoco family that consistently strives for excellence and shares a commitment for success.
To ensure a smooth transition, I am committed to providing my full support during the remaining period of my employment. I will complete all my responsibilities, tying up loose ends, and leaving the Conoco in the best possible way.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for the guidance, trust, and mentorship you have provided throughout my time at Conoco.
