What kind of fraction is irrational

An irrational number is not a fraction. It cannot be expressed as a ratio or fraction of two integers because it has an infinite and non-repeating decimal expansion. Examples of irrational numbers include pi (π), e, the square root of 2, and the golden ratio (φ).

An irrational fraction is a fraction whose numerator and denominator are both irrational numbers. In other words, it is a fraction where the numerator and/or denominator cannot be expressed as a ratio of two integers and are not terminating or repeating decimals. Examples of irrational fractions include √2/√3 and π/√5.
