Singh is deceased in Apex's main dimension, yet he's alive in Wraith's home dimension, and is the reason Voidwalker Wraith stayed in Apex Wraith's home dimension.

Singh is no longer alive in the primary dimension of Apex, however in Wraith's native realm, he is still living. This explains why Wraith, as Voidwalker, has remained in Apex Wraith's homeland dimension.

Apex Wraith's age is revealed to be 27 during the database access via Voidwalker Wraith, yet canonically her age is 32, as seen in the EA Apex Legends forum for Apex Wraith.

While accessing the database through Voidwalker Wraith, Apex Wraith's age was indicated to be 27. However, based on the information available on EA Apex Legends forum, her age is canonically recognized as 32.

The "void" that Wraith steps through is described as a veil or "window" between infinite dimensions, and it allows her to glimpse into those infinite other dimensions as she passes into and through it. While phase-shifted, Wraith can see "ghost images" of herself blink into view; these are described as infinite other Wraiths from other dimensions passing through the void at the same time as her. The "Voices From the Void" passive was also explained to be these other Wraiths looking into her dimension and speaking to her, warning her of danger. A developer claimed inspiration from Donnie Darko to explain Wraith's otherworldly powers in a science-fiction setting like Titanfall's.

In Apex Legends, the "void" is portrayed as a veil or "window" that permits Wraith to traverse infinite dimensions. As she enters and travels through the void, Wraith can catch glimpses of these infinite other dimensions. During this phase, she can also perceive "ghost images" of herself as numerous other versions of Wraith flash into view, having passed through the void at the same time as her. The "Voices From the Void" passive also hinges on this concept, with the whispers that Wraith hears being the voices of other Wraiths peering into her dimension. These voices are a cautionary indication of impending danger. Developers have cited the science-fiction movie Donnie Darko as a source of inspiration for describing Wraith's extraordinary abilities.

Regrettably, it seems unlikely that we can resolve this issue through a game of darts.

August was the sole heir to the Brinkman fortune, built on shady backroom deals. But when those deals caught up with his parents, August was left a billionaire orphan. Wealthy, furious and self-destructive, August joined the Thunderdome Games (the pre-Apex Apex Games). Here, he took the name Ballistic and became a sensation! His style was wild, reckless and utterly selfish, helping him become the very first Thunderdome celebrity.

He was famed for his iconic CAR ("Lady Grey", for the tea). It was here, in combat, that August would meet the love of his life, Sok Leng. They would quickly marry and have a son, Nathaniel. Sok Leng and her brother Kit Siang were an inseparable duo of destruction, and with August now on their squad, they seemed unstoppable.

But nothing lasts forever. August's crowd-pandering combat style meant he wasn't paying attention to his team when they needed him, leading to Kit Siang's death. Devastated by guilt, August retreated into himself, driving away his wife and son. For nearly 40 years, August lived as a recluse, keeping busy with small tasks to distract a lonely mind. And so August was largely forgotten, though not by everyone. His son, Nathaniel, was both enamored with his father's victories and determined to surpass them. When his son qualified to join the Apex Games, August went to the Syndicate with an offer: take me instead.

His son would be safe from the path that ruined him. What better way to use those skills than in selfless service? And if it just so happens to be his favorite activity, killing all who stand against him... That's quite the fortunate coincidence.

The Brinkman family fortune was inherited solely by August after his parents were caught in precarious backroom dealings. August became a billionaire orphan, and his rage and self-destructive behavior led him to join the Thunderdome Games, which was the precursor to the Apex Games. Adopting the moniker "Ballistic," he became a sensation for his wild, daredevil style, which made him the very first Thunderdome superstar. His famous CAR, Lady Grey, later captured the attention of combatant Sok Leng, who became his wife, and teaming up with Sok Leng's brother Kit Siang, they formed an unstoppable trio.

Unfortunately, August's focus on pleasing the crowds meant he occasionally neglected his team's cover defense, which led to Kit Siang's death, causing August overwhelming guilt and profound emotional distress. He withdrew from his wife and son, Nathaniel, and secluded himself for four decades, keeping his mind occupied with small tasks to distract from the pain of loneliness. August became largely forgotten, but Nathaniel idolized his father's battles and sought to surpass him. When he qualified for the Apex Games, August approached the Syndicate with an unusual proposition: take him in his son Nathaniel's place and keep him safe from the dangers that had destroyed his life. If possible, he would use his skills for noble purposes and would be most fortunate if it involved his favorite activity—defeating all challengers who dared to face him in battle.

Before his birth, it was foretold that Seer would bring pain and suffering to the world--and the night he was born, a meteor barrelled across the sky and struck his world’s moon. It was considered a bad omen, and when the pale blue eyes of Obi Edolasim opened, his community saw a cursed child. His parents did not; they loved him unconditionally because they saw the true empathic, creative soul of their son. They even supported him when he was drawn to the theatricality of the Arenas, where he could express himself fully.

At first, the crowds felt unsure of him. But over time, with each victory, the power inside him grew, and with it, his strength in the Arena. And as his reputation began to precede him, a strange thing happened… The people in the crowd who were downtrodden, outcast, and forgotten—they saw themselves in Seer. Soon, throngs of people would come out just to see him fight—cheering Seer on as their champion. Now, this legend from the Arenas is making his way to the Apex Games and there isn’t a single soul who hasn’t already heard his name. The boy born under a bad omen and a terrible myth has taken this tale and created an even greater legend. He is Seer— an icon of the shunned, the unaccepted, and the unabashedly original.

Origins
In 2708, an asteroid struck Cleo, the moon of Boreas, decimating it. At this same moment, Obi Edolasim was born. The people of Boreas saw this, as well as his chilling blue eyes, as a bad omen, and branded Edolasim as a cursed child. He grew up in loneliness, but he was greatly loved by his parents, who unconditionally cared for his creativity and outlook. During his youth, Edolasim learned dance from his mother and technology from his father.

Early in his life, Edolasim’s parents withdrew him from his school after harassment from both the students and the administration, with treatment including the destruction of his science fair projects and claims that he “will kill them with his eyes.” Edolasim learned from this a greater lesson than was taught in that school - those who push you away, push you to greater heights.

On June 20, 2725, Edolasim stumbled across an Arenas match in a warehouse. Despite coming home bruised and beaten, he believed that he had found his true calling. He joined in the Arenas’ theatrics, writing in his diary that “where there is violence, there is beauty.” He initially hesitated to tell his parents about his newfound passion, though they unconditionally supported him as always.

Edolasim became a rising star in the Arenas, where he amassed a fanbase of those who saw themselves as outcasts. He gave his fans the message that their curses don't bring them down, but make them strong and unique; everyone must let themselves define their curse, not others. One of his most popular stages was the arena known as Encore, on his home planet of Boreas. Along the way, he fought with two of the Legends: Rampart and Octane.

In 2734, Seer was chosen as the next Legend to join the Apex Games. Before entering, he won his final Arenas match, with his parents passionately cheering him on.

During Edolasim's time in the Apex Games, many on Boreas grew dissatisfied with what little their most famous citizen was doing to help their planet. Polling showed that many of Boreas's citizens saw Edolasim as the cause of Cleo's destruction, with those respondents airing grievances that he simply "spouted inspirational phrases."

Season 13
Edolasim was invited to an interview on Outlands TV. Despite not wishing to put himself on a pedestal, he accepted the invitation. Edolasim was interviewed by Lisa Stone of Outlands TV, which was known for acting as a corporate puppet of Silva Pharmaceuticals. During the interview, Stone deviated from the agreed-upon questions, taking the chance to use the interview as an attempted character assassination against Edolasim and attempting to paint him as uncaring towards the fate of his home world. Upon realizing this, a disappointed Edolasim departed the interview.

Seer was born with a prophecy that he would bring pain and suffering to the world. This prophecy seemed to come true when a meteor crashed into his world's moon on the night of his birth, leading many to see him as a cursed child. However, Seer's parents saw his empathic and creative soul and loved him unconditionally. Seer found solace in the theatricality of the Arenas, where he expressed himself fully. Though the crowds were initially unsure of him, Seer's victories steadily increased his power in the Arenas, and he eventually became a beloved icon of the shunned and forgotten.

Growing up, Seer learned both dance and technology from his parents, but was eventually forced out of school due to harassment from peers and staff. He discovered the Arenas and knew he had found his true calling, which his parents supported regardless of the danger. Seer's performances inspired his fans to embrace their own curses and use them to become stronger and more unique. He ultimately became a rising star in the Arenas and was chosen to join the Apex Games in 2734.

As Seer's fame grew, however, some blamed him for the destruction of Cleo, Boreas' moon, which had been destroyed by an asteroid on the night of his birth. Many of Boreas' citizens felt he was doing little to help his home planet and criticized his "inspirational phrases." When Seer was invited to an interview with Outlands TV, hoping to use it as an opportunity to connect with his fans, he was subjected to a public character assassination attempt, with the interviewer portraying him as uncaring towards the fate of his home world. Disappointed, Seer left the interview early.

Xiomara “Mara” Contreras was born and raised alone on the wild ice planet Págos by her survivalist mother, Xenia. Mara proved gifted with a sniper rifle from the moment she was big enough to look through the scope and reach the trigger at the same time. The tight-lipped Xenia could only get her chatty daughter to stop asking questions by giving her a scavenged copy of Encyclopedia Outlandica, which Mara memorized front to back.

When Mara was 18, she discovered the wreck of the G.D.S. Vantage. Against her mother’s wishes, Mara snuck in, only to learn that she had been lied to. Her mother hadn’t grown up on Págos: she was brought there on the G.D.S. Vantage as a prisoner. Disturbed by the intrusion, the ship collapsed into a crevasse, trapping a wounded Mara. Her mother only found her after a baby bat Mara had rescued circled the crevasse holding Mara’s signature whistle. By the time Xenia got to her daughter, the injuries were too severe for her to treat. To save her daughter’s life, Xenia set off the prison ship’s SOS beacon, but was imprisoned once more in return. Once Mara had healed, she visited her mother in jail, promising to find a way to get her out. But Xenia begged Mara not to, fearful that Mara would wind up in prison beside her. It would break her heart to see her daughter share her fate, so Xenia told her daughter to get back to Págos and forget about her.

But Mara would not. At a loss for what to do, unable to return to her planet, and unable to fit into society, Mara’s eye turned to the Apex Games. In it, she saw a situation she understood--survival--and a platform to draw public attention to Xenia’s case. With raised awareness of her wrongful conviction, she took the moniker Vantage to rally support and pressure those in power to set her mother free.

Origins
Xiomara Contreras was born on the Fringe World of Págos in 2716 to Xenia Contreras, an escaped prisoner who had been sentenced to life on the Gaean prison ship GDS Vantage. Growing up alone on the frozen planet, Xiomara was raised as a survivalist, keeping two mantras: the only truth is that everything wants to kill me, and the only rule is to survive. She was additionally told by her mother Xenia to stay away from the wreckage of the Vantage, which she told Xiomara was empty cargo ship. Xiomara exhibited proficiency with a sniper rifle from a young age and received the A-13 Sentry, a sniper rifle from the Vantage, as a birthday gift.

Xiomara kept a journal as a child. Multiple entries from 2729 show her prowess in hunting from an early age, as well as her boredom and loneliness living in the wilderness of Pagos.

Season 14
One day, while on a hunt, Xiomara shot a bat with her sniper rifle. She approached it and found it to still be alive, watching as it entered a crevasse leading into the wreckage of the Vantage. She rappelled down, following her prey into the ship.

Upon reaching the bridge, she found the bat resting on a console. It accidentally pressed some of its buttons, causing the Vantage's systems to come online. The ship scanned her, mistaking her for her mother, and ordered her to return to her cell. A bewildered Xiomara, now aware that this was a prison ship, was attacked by the defence systems and tried to escape. Before she could reach her rope, the ship fell, crumbling into the canyon below.

Xiomara landed on a ledge below, where she was crushed by debris. She attempted to signal for help, but her whistle fell further into the canyon. After falling unconscious, she was found by Xenia, who realized she could not save her daughter. Placing a chip in her hand, Xenia activated a distress signal, calling Gaean authorities to the rescue. When they arrived, they found Xiomara and arrested Xenia. After leaving Pagos, Xiomara was accompanied by the bat, which she named Echo.

After recovering, Xiomara visited Xenia at her prison. She attempted to free her mother using a concealed blade, but Xenia would not allow her to, telling her to return home to Pagos. While guards carried her away, Xiomara saw a broadcast for the Apex Games as well as the algorithm Crypto discovered, although she didn't not realise its significance. Xiomara decided to enter to bring attention to Xenia's plight and in the hope to free her.

In her placement match, Xiomara assumedly performed well, but was disqualified due to Echo attacking another competitor, with Echo being classified as a pet by the Mercenary Syndicate. Xiomara submitted an appeal to this decision, basing her argument on the fact that Bloodhound has a raven. After this, she was allowed entry into the Games.

During her first official match, she was placed on a team with Fuse and Horizon, with the trio winning. On the broadcast after the match's conclusion, Xiomara dedicated her win to her mother, bringing awareness to her case.

Friends Like These
Xiomara showed up to a party hosted by Mirage, much to his surprise as no one else had arrived. He noticed her lack of social skills, and recommended that she try to make friends with the other Legends, getting to know them and caring about their problems, as well as figuring out why they had not attended Mirage's party.

Xiomara first visited Wattson, who was working on a communications device. After asking what her "problem" was, Wattson stated that there is more to making friends than this - you must get to know them as a person. Xiomara demonstrated her shallow understanding of this by pointing out easily-observable qualities of Wattson's room. Noticing various images of Wraith, Caustic, and Crypto as well as Wattson's cat. She then began to attempt to pry for secrets. A defensive Wattson then knocked over a bowl of cereal, with its milk short-circuiting and activating the communications device. After noticing a woman with red hair and green eyes on the screen, Wattson shooed Xiomara away.

Soon after, Xiomara ventured to Boreas in an attempt to find Seer and Rampart, dropping in on them unannounced while discussing the state of the planet and ways to fix it. Thanks to Xiomara's words, Seer decided to propose an expansion of the Apex Games on Boreas to Eduardo Silva. The two then agree to be Xiomara's friends.

Xiomara then travelled to Bloodhound's village on Talos, where they and Fuse were working to relocate the tribe due to the declining state of Talos's ecosystem. Explaining her quest to make friends, Fuse explained that friendship is about more than knowing each other's problems - it's about engaging and never giving up. on one another. Bloodhound gave their own advice, stating that attention and listening are also important. In response, a confused Xiomara stated that she was looking for simple friendship, not a romantic relationship like what she perceived between Bloodhound and Fuse. The two Legends, now flustered, then left to resume packing.

Xiomara next met Loba for dinner. However, her attire and Echo's behaviour caused the two to be removed from the restaurant, much to Loba's chagrin. Xiomara expressed her confusion with everyone telling her different things about what friendship means, with Loba telling her of the importance of respect and loyalty, especially in her line of work. Having had enough of the young hunter, Loba entered Valkyrie's apartment, locking Xiomara out. Wanting to continue their conversation, Xiomara broke into the apartment to find Loba tending to the wounds of her injured friend, Jamie. At Loba's request, she called for help.

Eventually, Xiomara returned to the Paradise Lounge, bragging that she had spoken to all of Mirage's friends and that she had learned to listen to others. The Apex Games match she had recently won appeared on the television, where Xiomara was disheartened to see that her message about her mother had been cut off by the announcers. Mirage then showed her various clips of his victories over the past seasons, where he brought up his ailing mother, telling her that she needed to act in a more marketable way to better manipulate the media into spreading her message. The two then had a heart-to-heart, where Witt talked about his mother and how he tries to help her keep her memory. To lighten the mood, Xiomara then told Mirage that she had brought his friends with her so that he could have his party. Xiomara and Mirage then joined Horizon, Crypto, Wraith, Pathfinder, and Rampart on the dance floor. It was later revealed by Rampart that Mirage had forgotten to send the invites out.
