The littlun says he saw several things in the forest. Firstly, he saw a piglet that the boys on the island made their pet. Secondly, he saw strange markings on a cliff. Thirdly, he saw huts from a native tribe that they believed to be inhabited. Lastly, he saw a snake-like thing that he referred to as a "beastie."
