Bro I don't get this. So I came home with my parents about 20-30 minutes ago and my parents went outside to talk and I wanted to watch Spongebob upfront in the living room and play Super Mario 3D world on the Gamepad and my brother doesn't like it so he got mad at me for no apparent reason. He usually closes his door, but yet doesn't like nearly anything that I like, referring to cartoons. But yet, he watches paw patrol still. Like why- He slammed his door.

I'm sorry to hear that your brother got mad at you for wanting to watch Spongebob and play Super Mario 3D world. It seems like he has different interests and preferences than you, which is completely normal. However, it's not fair for him to get angry and slam his door without any reason. Maybe try talking to him and explaining how his behavior makes you feel. Communication is key in any relationship, even with siblings.

And yet HE PACES around the house and watches stuff that I don't like, and I don't get mad at him. :(

It sounds like there may be some underlying issues or tension between you and your brother. It's understandable that you feel frustrated and hurt when he gets mad at you for no reason. It might be helpful to try and have a calm and honest conversation with him to try and clear the air and address any concerns either of you have. Maybe you could both come to a compromise about what shows to watch or how to spend time together. Remember, it's normal to have differences in interests, but it's important to treat each other with respect and kindness.

Well, for one, he is autistic.

Thank you for letting me know that your brother is autistic. It's important to understand that individuals with autism may have different sensory needs and preferences, which can affect how they react to certain stimuli. It's possible that your brother's reaction was due to sensory overload or difficulty processing the situation. It might be helpful to talk to your parents about ways to create a positive environment that accommodates your brother's needs. Additionally, it's important to be patient, understanding, and respectful towards individuals with autism. They often face many challenges and difficulties in navigating social situations.

Yeah, that is true. He loves to hug and stuff (he hugs me all the time.) and he is a GREAT brother, better than majority at any rate. So yeah. I'll go apologize to him. Thanks a lot for the talk, helper!! :)

You're welcome! It's great to see that you have a good relationship with your brother and that you're willing to apologize and make things right. Remember, communication and understanding are key to maintaining healthy relationships with family and loved ones. Good luck!
