It is not possible to determine the error on a box plot based on the data alone. The error (or whiskers) on a box plot depend on the specific type of box plot being used (e.g. Tukey box plot, modified box plot, etc.) and the data distribution. Additionally, some box plots may not even include whiskers at all.
