As a senior prefect of your school write a speech to delivered at the 5th graduation ceremony on three new thing new thing you do in your tenure of office

Dear esteemed guests, staff, parents, and most importantly, the graduating class of 2021,

As the senior prefect of this wonderful institution, I stand before you all with immense pride and happiness in my heart. The role of a prefect is to lead by example, to set a standard for others to follow, and to make a positive impact in our school community. Over the past year, I have endeavored to fulfill this role to the best of my ability.

Today, as we celebrate the graduation of this class, I am honored to share with you three significant new things that I implemented during my tenure as a prefect.

Firstly, I instituted a mentorship program for incoming students. I believe that every new student should have someone to guide them through their first year at school to ensure they feel welcome and comfortable. As senior students, we have a responsibility to show leadership by reaching out and supporting those who are new to the school. This has helped our new students feel like a part of a bigger community, and we hope it helps them build the confidence and resilience needed to make the most of their time here.

Secondly, I spearheaded a school-wide recycling initiative. As young people, we recognize the importance of protecting our planet, and we feel a deep sense of responsibility to do our part in fighting climate change. As a result, we organized a recycling program that allows our students to dispose of waste responsibly, keeping our environment clean and green. We have seen a significant reduction in the amount of waste produced by the school, and we are proud to have set an example for other schools to follow.

Finally, I worked with the school management to create an annual school carnival. We recognize the importance of having fun and building relationships in the midst of the school's academic demands. The school carnival provides an opportunity for students to engage in a fun-filled day that includes games, music, and food stalls. The carnival has been a huge success so far, and we hope to continue it in the coming years.

In conclusion, I stand proud of the impact my team and I have made during our term of office. As we bid farewell to this graduating class, I encourage you to continue to strive for excellence in all you do. Remember the values we hold dear at this school, and let them guide you as you embark on your next phase of life.

Thank you and congratulations once again, class of 2021!
