Why is there no machine which is 100% efficient in the whole world

The second law of thermodynamics states that in any energy transfer or transformation, some energy is lost as unusable energy, usually in the form of heat. This means that it is impossible for any machine to be 100% efficient, as some energy will always be lost and unable to be harnessed for useful work. Therefore, all machines have some degree of inefficiency and will always experience some energy loss during operation.
