Prophet Khadir (also spelled Khidr or Al-Khidr) is a figure in Islamic, Jewish, and Christian traditions. He is believed to be a righteous and mysterious servant of God, who possesses special knowledge and powers. In Islamic tradition, he is often referred to as "The Green One" (al-Khadir) because he is said to wear a green garment. According to the Quran, he is a companion of Moses and appears in a story in which he teaches Moses some divine wisdom and knowledge.
