so
2+3i-3i^3/1-i
= (2 + 3i - 3(-i))/(1-i)
= (2+6i)/(1-i)
multiply top and bottom by 1+i
= (2 + 8i + 6i^2)/(1 - i^2)
= (2 + 8i - 6)/(1 + 1)
= (8i - 4)/2
= 4i - 2
