What is the problem with pollution that enters the oceans locally?

It dissipates.
The location is limited to the area of the pollution.
All species in the deep ocean die because the pollution sinks.
Pollution circulates to all parts of the ocean.
All species in that locality die automatically.

Pollution that enters the oceans locally can still have negative impacts on the environment and marine life. It may not simply dissipate or be limited to a small area, as ocean currents can cause the pollution to spread to other areas. Marine animals can also inadvertently ingest the pollution or become entangled in it, leading to injuries or death. Additionally, some pollutants can persist in the environment for a long time and accumulate in the food chain, potentially causing long-term harm to marine ecosystems and human health.
