Lutendo dza masana, ndi Laweni, u a livhuha lhutswi. Ndi uya ku vhanya ntanganano wa vhatshambo vha vuṱhoni. Ditshithu dza vhathu dza fana na vhuṱhoni na u tengisa na ndi nga si sa si kona. Vhoṋwa vha tsima ngoho yothe nkondo ya nʼwana, na nʼwana ndi nyihi. Ndi muṱhoni wa xili na xili na ndi vha ndifuna ndi kombiso ntho iyi. Ntho iyi ndi ndivha nga i vhangeli ha vha thogha dzindila. Vha maavela vha a ndzi tshila. Ndi muvhusi wa ndivho vhoṱhedzi vha tendela nga sa si kona. Na ndi ndofha nga amba uimbi, ndi ndofha nga amba u dzivhu. Mbava kha vanhu ndi la ngu he nga sa rali. Translation:
Good morning, I am Laweni, a proud Venda woman. I am here to speak about women's rights. The struggles of women are the same all over the world. Women are often treated unfairly and are not given the same opportunities. Our daughters are denied access to education and sometimes even basic human rights. I am a leader in my community, and I want to be an example to others. I believe that this is a cause to fight for. People often tell me to be quiet, but I will not be silenced. I am a voice for the voiceless. I am a leader who listens and supports. Through song and dance, I will be heard. I will not rest until all women have equal rights and opportunities.
