The Main character Addicuss, comes to with his friends Chris, Dahi, and his crush a Valkyrie named Tanio by his side but has no memory of what happened in limbo. Out of the corner of his eye, he thinks he sees a black slimy thing slither in a crack, but this is all overshadowed by the fact that addicuss is now mostly Colour Blind
Addicuss blinks and rubs his eyes, hoping that maybe it's just a temporary effect of waking up. However, when he looks around at his friends, he can tell that something is off. Chris's normally bright blue shirt is now a dull grey, and Dahi's fiery red hair seems muted. Even Tanio's shining silver armor appears faded.
"What's going on?" Addicuss asks, his voice shaking slightly.
"We don't know," Tanio replies, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "We were all knocked out and woke up like this."
Addicuss tries to think back to Limbo, but his mind is foggy and he can't recall anything. He wonders if this has something to do with the black slimy thing he saw out of the corner of his eye. As he looks around, he notices that there are more cracks in the walls than before, and some of them seem to be oozing slime.
"We need to get out of here," Chris says, his voice echoing in the small, dark room they're in.
As they make their way through the labyrinthine tunnels, Addicuss's color-blindness becomes increasingly frustrating. He can barely distinguish between different shades of grey and everything appears dull and lifeless. However, he also starts to notice things he might have missed before. Small cracks in the walls that are just big enough for the slimy black creatures to slither through. Strange symbols etched into the stone with glowing green light.
Finally, they come to a staircase leading up. As they ascend, the air becomes cooler and fresher, and Addicuss can hear the sound of rushing water. When they reach the top, they find themselves in a large cavern with a river running through it. On the other side of the river, they see a gate with a symbol carved into it that Addicuss recognizes as the Valkyrie's emblem.
"We need to get across," Tanio says, the urgency in her voice clear.
Addicuss looks at the river, which seems to be flowing quickly, and considers their options. Then he spots something glinting on the ground nearby. It's a metal rod with a hook at the end, and he realizes that it could be used to create a makeshift bridge.
"Chris, can you help me with this?" he asks, picking up the rod.
Together, he and Chris use the rod to pry loose some of the rocks on the riverbank, making a rough path across the water. Tanio and Dahi cross first, with Addicuss following closely behind. As they reach the other side, they hear a low growling coming from behind them.
Turning around, they see a pack of slimy black creatures slithering towards them. Addicuss grips the rod tightly, ready to fight. But then something strange happens. The creatures seem to hesitate, as if unsure of what to do. And then, as suddenly as they appeared, they turn around and disappear into the darkness.
"What was that all about?" Dahi asks, looking confused.
Addicuss doesn't know for sure, but he has a feeling that it has something to do with the symbols he saw in the tunnels. He makes a mental note to ask Tanio about it later.
For now, though, they need to focus on getting out of this place and finding some answers. As they approach the gate, it slowly swings open, revealing a bright light beyond.
"Are you ready?" Tanio asks, looking at Addicuss with a mixture of concern and determination.
"I am," he replies, feeling a sense of purpose welling up inside him.
Together, they step through the gate and into a new world.
