1. Discipline refers to the practice of training oneself or others to obey set rules, regulations or instructions to achieve a certain level of control, orderliness, and productivity.

2. Indiscipline, on the other hand, refers to the lack of adherence to set rules, regulations or instructions, resulting in disorderliness, disobedience, and unproductivity.

3. Six acts of indiscipline in the Ghanaian society include:

- Corruption: the act of giving or receiving bribes to flout regulations or gain unjust advantages is common in Ghana.

- Truancy: Many students and workers in Ghana are known to absent themselves from school or work without any genuine reason.

- Littering: The indiscriminate disposal of rubbish such as plastics, bottles and food containers in public places is a common form of indiscipline in Ghana.

- Traffic violations: Many drivers in Ghana disobey traffic regulations such as disregarding traffic lights, driving on the wrong side of the road, or over-speeding.

- Noise pollution: Playing loud music late at night, honking unnecessarily or engaging in loud conversations that disturb the peace and tranquility of neighbors is a common form of indiscipline in Ghana

- Vandalism: destroying public or private properties and assets such as school buildings, street lights, or billboards is also a widespread act of indiscipline in Ghana.

- Financial losses: Indiscipline behavior such as fraud and corruption can lead to financial losses for individuals involved.

- Legal repercussions: Some acts of indiscipline such as vandalism, and traffic violation can lead to legal repercussions or fines, thus resulting in serious consequences for the individual.
