Formula: Area of a Trapezoid simple definiton
The area of a trapezoid is the amount of space enclosed within its four sides. It is calculated by adding the lengths of the top and bottom sides of the trapezoid, multiplying that sum by the height of the trapezoid, and then dividing the result by two:
Area = (length of top + length of bottom) x height รท 2
