Double the Danger and Zero Zucchini is a children's book by Betsy Uhrig about twin sisters Allie and Natalie who are complete opposites. Allie is adventurous and loves danger while Natalie is cautious and hates danger. When their school sponsors a fundraiser cooking contest, Allie volunteers to cook while Natalie is in charge of fundraising. However, when Allie gets sick, Natalie has to cook instead, and disaster strikes when she misreads the recipe and substitutes salt for sugar. The entire school dislikes the dish, and the girls need to figure out how to make it right. Eventually, they work together and come up with a unique and delicious recipe, winning the contest and showing that although they are different, they make a great team.
