vascular tissue or not.
Mosses, like all bryophytes, do not have vascular tissue. Instead, they absorb water and nutrients directly through their cells.
Pine trees, like all higher plants, have vascular tissue in the form of xylem and phloem. Xylem transports water and minerals from the roots to the rest of the plant, while phloem transports sugars and other organic molecules from the leaves to the rest of the plant.
