You can see that the “transitions” are more than just a simple word. They are transitions of ideas. Create two transition sentences that you might use after each of the introduction samples you read.

Introduction Sample 1: "Growing up, my parents did their best to expose me to diverse cultures and experiences. As a result, I developed a love for traveling and exploring new places."

Transition Sentence 1: "Despite these early opportunities, it wasn't until my college years that I truly began to appreciate the value of international travel."

Introduction Sample 2: "As a child, I struggled with reading and writing. It wasn't until I discovered the power of storytelling that I began to excel in language arts."

Transition Sentence 2: "Now, as a writer myself, I understand how transformative an engaging story can be for both the reader and the writer."
